Wanda Caroline McCullen, born on December 5, 1942, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Wanda's spirit will be profoundly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Wanda is survived by her devoted husband, James McCullen, and her two daughters, Rhonda (Mike) Carranza and Kim (Thomas) Dehner. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Ryan (Kayla Kneemiller) Boyle, Samantha Carranza, and Miranda Dehner, as well as her great-grandchildren, Kane Boyle and Kenadi Boyle. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who enriched her life.
Throughout her life, Wanda enjoyed numerous hobbies that brought her joy and fulfillment. She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, relishing in the sun as she played tennis, hiked, and spent time with her grandchildren. A lover of animals, she extended her care beyond just her family. She found great satisfaction in thrifting and attending garage sales, uncovering unique treasures along the way. Wanda also had a special passion for baby dolls, boasting an extensive collection that showcased her nurturing spirit.
Wanda's proudest accomplishments included being a two-time senior Olympic volleyball player, a testament to her dedication and competitive spirit. She remained a pillar of support for her family, always willing to lend a hand and offer help to anyone in need. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense pride and joy, as she dedicated herself to their well-being and happiness.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Belden; mother, Ethyl Belden; three brothers, John (Maude) Belden, Darrell Belden, and Dennis (Pat) Belden; and two sisters, Beverly Belden and Barbara (Harold) McDonough. Each of these family members held a cherished place in her heart and thoughts.
Wanda Caroline McCullen leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support. Her vibrant spirit and warm heart will forever remain in the memories of all who knew her.
