Wandell "Bud" Stratman, age 94, of Maryland Heights, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in St. Charles, Missouri. He was born in Summerfield, Missouri on March 3, 1926 to Henry and Maggie Stratman (nee Crider).
Bud was married to Darlene Stratman for 69 years 10 months. He loved to garden, fish, camp, and hunt. He was able to repair anything with a motor and enjoyed the challenge. Bud was an enthusiastic storyteller. His most joyful times were spent with his grandsons.
Bud is survived by his daughters, Debra S. (Kevin) Teson, and Linda L. Ronan; his grandchildren, Jason M. Belyew, Zachary M. (Chelsea) Belyew, and Kyle S. Ronan, his great-grandchildren, Holden G. Belyew, Elyse L. Belyew, Emerson L. Belyew, Mason R. Belyew, and Hunter M. Belyew; and his sister, Marge S. Moss. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Stratman; his father, Henry Stratman; his mother, Maggie Stratman; his siblings, Ruby S. (Glynn) Cooper, Stanley L (Beulah) Stratman, Roy (Opal) Stratman, Betty S. (Gene) Rhinesmith, and Clara S (Avery) Jones; and his brother-in-law, James Moss.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
