Willard Ernst Miller, age 91, of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis City, Missouri on September 18, 1930 to Willard and Edna Miller (nee Cross).
Many would describe Willard (Bill, Jr.) as a man's man. The provider, the one who had a fix for everything. Some called him dad, some called him grandpa, and many were fortunate to call him a friend. Before kids and family, his first love was the marines. Shortly after, came the love of his life. Anyone who knows Jr. would attest that he is not the most affectionate. However, no one could deny the fact that his family was his biggest love. Aside from Jr. being the goofiest in the room, he is known for his love for the Cubs, clipping coupons, coaching baseball, memorable stories, and his unforgettable one-liners.
Willard is survived by his Wife Melba, Two Sons, Tim W. (Barb) Miller, Cary S. (Chris) Miller; Daughter, Pam J. Gamache; Seven Grandsons, Matt (Megan) Miller, Robert Miller, Justin (Allee) Miller, Alex (Erica) Bird, Scott Bird, Sean Bird, Jared (Gianna) Bird; Three Granddaughters, Amanda Miller, Jennifer Miller, Paige (Jake) Moran; Two Great-Granddaughters, Morgan Miller, Ava Bird; Two Great-Grandsons, Jameson Miller, Judson Moran; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Willard E. Miller and Edna Miller.
