William Joe Glasgow, age 83, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Fayette, Alabama on April 4, 1941 to John and Nevie Morrison-Glasgow.
William graduated from Parrish High School in 1960 in Alabama. After graduating he moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he worked a few odd jobs before going to work for McDonnell-Douglas for 10 years as a foreman. Later he went on to open several restaurants in the 1970s before he opened his own car dealership, Bill Glasgow Auto Sales. Bill then started Glasgow Properties in 1992.
In his free time Bill enjoyed listening to music, singing, and playing guitar. He loved to jog and exercise with his wife Tina. Bill also enjoyed to travel, but above anything else Bill loved spending time with his family. Bill was a church family member of Geyer Road Baptist Church in Kirkwood, Missouri.
William is survived by his Wife, Tina Glasgow; Two Sons, William Joe Glasgow, II, Noah Glasgow; Daughter, Susan Glasgow; Four Sisters, Jewel Shader, Christine Clifton, Rebecca Copeland, Norma Jean Hardin; Grandchild, Stephen (Ellen) Pfleeger; Two great-grandchildren, Penelope Pfleeger, Harrison Pfleeger; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, John Henry Glasgow; Mother, Nevie Morrison-Glasgow; Four Sisters, Edna Dyer, Flossie Welch, Sybileen Glasgow-Woods-Brown, Wanda Dixon; Two Brothers, Leburn Ray Glasgow, Johnny Glasgow, Jr.
Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Friday, June 28, 2024 at Geyer Road Baptist Church, 504 S Geyer Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at Geyer Road Baptist Church.
