William Paul DeCoursey, Jr., age 80, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 11, 1942 to William and Ann DeCoursey (nee Ciston).
Bill is survived by his longtime partner, Donna Roland; son, Benedict DeCoursey; step-children, Christine Brautigam, Robert Roland, and Gary Roland; grandsons, Matthew Brautigam and Bryan Brautigam; sisters, Kathy Bailey and Anne Wanamaker; brothers, Daniel, Philip, Kevin, and Kenneth DeCoursey; and loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ann DeCoursey, Sr.; son, Christopher DeCoursey; and brothers, Michael and Dennis DeCoursey.
Bill enjoyed a career at Chrysler Automotive, and retired after 20 years. He also owned and operated a Baskin-Robbins franchise. Bill was a parishioner at Assumption Catholic Church, an active member of St. Catherine Laboure parish, and was an integral member of the South County Widowed and Divorced Catholics group. He was an avid Ham Radio operator, his call sign was KA0RGI. Bill was also a lifelong Chief's fan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
