William “DREWE” Monroe Dildine, September 9, 1989 – April 27, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved son, father and brother, left this earth to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27.
Drewe is the grandson of the late Norma & Berry Dildine and the late Alfred & Loretta Vincent, son of Velvet Dildine & William Vincent and stepson of Bryan Martin. Drewe was preceded in death by his sister Noel and brothers Christian and Crosstian. He is survived by his brother Dorian Vincent, Jeremiah, Emerald and Jewell Martin. He is the loving father of Jordyn, Weston, Warner, Whyatt, Waylon and Waverley. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Andrea Candela.
Drewe loved and cherished his family, brothers and sisters and loved his children more than anything in the world! He was a passionate man and valued all that God provided him. He loved helping people and providing a kind word or a hug when someone was in need. He was never afraid to show his emotion and share his feelings. His self-deprecating nature was evident to all who knew him intimately. He had a sense of humor that was infectious and touched everyone who knew him and all those he met for the first time.
Drewe’s passion for cooking was unsurpassed and he cooked both professionally and at home. He found great joy in the kitchen creating new dishes and experimenting with new flavors, herbs and spices and then asking his family to be his taste testers. He possessed a servant’s heart and a selfless spirit.
Drewe was a well-rounded, talented man both athletically and professionally. He was a very hard worker who could install tile floors, paint, landscape and provide HVAC service. He was an accomplished baseball player, all-around athlete and loved the Saint Louis Cardinals. He chose to play hockey one year, without any skating classes or formal instruction, so he could follow in his big brothers footsteps and scored the winning goal in the league championship game!
His beautiful smile, his infectious laugh and beautiful BIG HEART will be deeply missed by all!
Services for Drewe will be held on Sunday, May 05, 2024 with Visitation being held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a Funeral Ceremony immediately following at 4:00 pm.
The family invites you to wear red to the service in honor of Drewe, as it is his favorite color.
