William J. Dixon , 75, of Saint Peters, passed away March 13, 2016 in Maryland Heights, MO.He was born September 23, 1940 in East St. Louis, Illinois, a son of the late Earl and Glenna (Jarvis) Dixon.
William was a retired mechanic for RSC, loved fishing, bingo and cars.
He is survived by his Two Daughters, Veronica "Vicci" (Scott) Dyer of Saint Peters, MO and Wanda L. (Wes) Schrader of O'Fallon, MO; a Son, William J. Dixon, Jr. of Sullivan, MO; Two Sisters, Patricia Sarrow of Maryland Heights, MO, Donna DeShaney of Maryland Heights, MO; 13 Grandchildren and
2 Great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his Wife, Wanda Marie Dixon, Daughter, Rhonda Lynn Smith, Brother, Gary Dixon, infant Sister and Brother, Frieda and Jerry Dixon and one Grandson Zachary Glenn Smith.
A funeral ceremony will be held 11:00 am Saturday March 19, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri with Rev. Robert Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Charles, MO.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Friday March 18, 2016 from 6:00 pm-8:00pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
