William David Kostedt, age 82, of Maryland Heights, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. He was born in Kirksville, Missouri on August 17, 1935 to Benjamin and Verna Kostedt (nee Hammock).
William was a dairy worker and he was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He was married to Rose Kostedt (nee John).
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Cheryl A. Kostedt.
William is survived by his wife, Rose Kathleen Kostedt of Maryland Heights, MO; children, Kathleen M. (Wayne) Morris, Janet L. (Lonnie) Houghton, Eileen M. (Robert) Evans, Karen A. (Ed) Gagnor, Daniel R.(Agnes) Kostedt, Kathy A. (Phil) Greco, Kelly A. (Michael) Cullen and Alex W. (Fred) Kostedt; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren , 1 great-great grandchild and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Memorial Service will be 5:00 pm Friday, November 10, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions with Pastor Patrick officiating. Military Honors will take place following the memorial service at 6:00PM.
