William J. Schwab, age 73, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on August 23, 1947 to Arthur and Elizabeth Schwab (nee McCarter).
Bill was an active captain in the United States Army. He was a sergeant with the Saint Charles County Sheriff's Department for 30 years. Bill was an avid golfer, and enjoyed collecting just about everything.
Bill is survived by his wife, Caryn Schwab; his sons, William E. Schwab, and Chad D. Schwab; his step-children, Dana K. Murphy, Janine D. Murphy, and Christian R. Merrifield; and his grandchildren, Scout Schwab, Marli Schwab, and Hunter Schwab; and his adopted K-9, Lola. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Wilma Boyle; his father, Arthur Schwab; his mother, Elizabeth Schwab; and his brother, Daniel Schwab.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
