Bill was a dedicated diesel machinist, working professionally for over 40 years, whose passion for his craft was evident in both his work and his relationships. His intelligence and resourcefulness earned him the nickname "Mr. Fix It." In his leisure time, Bill enjoyed fishing and boating, spending hours in peaceful solitude by the water. He was also an avid fan of football, with a special place in his heart for the Kansas City Chiefs. Watching games brought him joy, but sharing those treasured moments with his family brought him even more happiness. In addition Bill had many friends. He would want the neighborhood gang to know he loved them very much and spending his spare time among them created many happy memories.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Stewart; his daughter, Stephanie Stewart; his son, Michael Stewart; his grandchildren, Jenna Boyer and Emily Stewart; and his great-grandchildren, Ryker Boyer, Mabry Boyer, and Kennedie Stewart.
