William Jacob Wilson

William "Bill" Jacob Wilson, age 96, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 8, 1922 to the late William and Eva Wilson (nee Weber).

Bill was a Machinist at McDonnell Douglas aka Boeing for 35 years. Bill was a WWII veteran and a avid Cardinal Fan. He loved to garden, fish, bowl, doing puzzles and attended daily Mass. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Bill was married to the late Leona C. Wilson for 49 years before she passed in 2006. Bill is survived by his children, Melvin A. (late Mary) Bonds, Sharon L. (Jim) Swinney, Nancy J. (Rick) Pollock, Anna E. Dobson and Patricia L. (Howard) Adams; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great- grandchildren and many friends.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sally L. (late Jerry) Coleman and grandchildren, Terrence Coleman, Aaron Bonds, Jessica Pollock and Joshua Luckett.

Mass will be 10:00 am Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Cletus Catholic Church 2705 Zumbehl Rd. St. Charles, MO 63301 with Father Jim Benz officiating. There will be a visitation at 9:00am at the church prior to the mass. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St. Peters. MO 63376 on April 10, 2018. Interment will be held at St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles, MO following the funeral mass.

The family will be honoring Bill by wearing Cardinal attire at the visitation. You are welcome to join us.
