HIRT-Winifred CLAIRE, age 87, August 29, 2021, Wentzville. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, William E. Hirt; adored daughter of the late Gordon E. Mack Sr and Esther Arlene Wells (Oakes/Mack); cherished sister of her late brother's Gordon E. Mack Jr and Robert C. Mack. Loving mother of William D. Hirt, Barbara Donahue (Al), Elizabeth Belin, Michael Hirt (Mary) and Robert Hirt. Dear sister of W. Gary Mack (Jeannie), Donald Wells, Wayne Wells (Robin), Susan Sindelar (John) and Sister-in-laws Linda Mack and Margaret Ucci. A grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The family would like to recognize and thank Kathleen Hoffman for her devoted companionship and care of our mother over the last several years of her life. In addition, we would like to extend our thanks to all of our mother's care providers.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be sent to the American Heart Association in honor of the deceased.
